Prior to establish Erythro Pharma, he worked as R&D Chief of Standard Organics, formerly the parent organization Dr.Reddy’s Laboratories, Before he start his industrial carrier, he did Postdoctoal Research in Organic Synthesis at the University of Wisconsin, Madison, USA. Also he completed his Ph.D at the National Chemical Laboratory, Pune, India under the guidence of Padma Bhushan awardee Dr. A.V. Ramaro. He played a key role in establishing Hyderabad as a Pharma Hub of India. He has vast expertise in taking products from laboratory scale to viable commercial large scale production. Especially, under his guidence developed and optimized a number of successful process for advanced APIs key intermediates, speciality and fine chemicals in cost effective way for commercial scale manufacturing.
